ORDERING OF GOODS
Q : How safe is shopping on Piccolo-house.com?
A : It is vitally important to Piccolo House that you can give us your personal and payment details online in complete confidence. Piccolo House is committed and has taken every possible measure to maintain the confidentiality of the personal information that you provide us.
Q: How do I place an order online?
A : Once you have selected your furniture, add the items to your shopping cart. Each item is individually priced. You will be asked for your delivery address. If you have any special instructions or important information (For e.g. about access to your property), please let us know by filling in the special instructions box.
You will also be prompted to confirm that you have sufficient access and space for the items you want to purchase. (Piccolo House does not provide used furniture disposal service.)
Next, please choose your preferred payment method from Paypal, cheque or cash. Once you completed your order, we will confirm the information you have given us.
At this stage, you will be able to make any changes to your selected furniture, delivery address and payment details. After ensuring that order is correct, click the 'submit' button. You'll automatically receive a confirmation page. Please print it out for your records.
An email confirmation of your order will be sent to you shortly.
Q: Can I make changes to my order?
A : For Bedroom Furniture purchases, Piccolo House only accept changes to orders within 3 days from date of purchase. Should you need to make changes to your order, simply e-mail us or telephone 65-6743 8884 on Tuesday to Friday between 12pm to 7pm and Sat & Sun 12pm to 8pm. Piccolo House reserves the right to not to accept any changes made after 3 days.
For purchase of other in stock items that require delivery, Piccolo House only accepts changes to orders within 24 hours from time of purchase. If you need to make changes to your order, please call us at 65-6743 8884. Piccolo House reserves the right not to accept any changes made after 24 hours.
Please note that when merchandise is ordered at different times, we cannot guarantee matching colours for all our furniture due to variations between batches. Changing an order may cause a delay in your delivery time and the price you have been quoted.
Q: Can you tell me the availability of a specific item?
A : An indication of the current lead time for delivery is given on the product page. The information is updated. Piccolo House cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. We will inform you as soon as we are informed of any changes in the original time given when you placed your order. For more information, please e-mail us or call 65-6743 8884.
PAYMENT
Q : How do i pay for my purchased items ?
A : For online orders: after choosing your merchandise you will be asked to select your preferred method of payment (Paypal, cheque or cash). Once you have made your choice, simply follow the instructions on screen until the process is complete.
If you are paying via PayPal, you will be directed to PayPal's website to make your payment and you will receive an email receipt once payment is approved.
For orders within Singapore, you may choose to pay by cheque. Please write cheque payable to "Piccolo Pte Ltd". We do not accept Post-dated cheques. A personal cheque may take up to 7 working days to clear before we can finalise the dispatch of your order. Please note that we will only process your order if we receive your cheque within 5 working days.
For payment by cash (applicable for self collection only), you can make the cash payment when you collect the product(s) from our showroom. Please note that we would only reserve the item for you at our showroom when we receive a minimum amount of 50% of transaction value. Thus, we advise you to pay via Paypal or make the collection as soon as possible if you opt to make full cash payment upon self collection.
For bedroom furniture and any other products, production time usually range from 45 days to 60 days. Piccolo House requires a minimum 50% deposit, which is not refundable to initiate an order. The deposit secures the production process time needed to make your purchased items. Once the item(s) is delivered, we require the balance to be paid in cash or cheque. All purchased items from Piccolo House shall remain property of Piccolo Pte Ltd until full payment is made.
DELIVERY
Q : What are the delivery charges?
Our delivery charges( per trip) are calculate base on the following range :
- $1.00 - $99.99 , $20.00
- $100 - $199.99, $30.00
- $200 - $499.99, $40.00
- $500 and above, $50.00
The above delivery costs do not include the bedroom furniture items. The delivery charges for the bedroom furniture are stated separately at the individual item pages. However, if other smaller items that deliver together with any of the bedroom furniture items, no additional delivery charges will be incurred.
Q : What are the delivery days and times?
Our delivery days are on Monday to Saturday, excluding eve of public holidays and public holidays. Delivery times are as follow:
Mon-Fri: 10am to 6pm
Sat: 9am – 12 noon Please take note that our delivery times are 2 hour slots (Eg: 11am to 1pm).
Q : What happens on the day of delivery ?
A : You will be contacted in advance to arrange a convenient delivery date. Assuming your purchased items are not self assembled, we will position the furniture as directed and remove all packaging materials - unless you wish to keep them. Please make sure all access points are clear of obstacles. You should also ensure there is someone in your property to receive and sign for your purchased items. Please ensure that there is sufficient space for your purchased furniture before we deliver them. (Piccolo House does not provide used furniture disposal service.)
Q : What happens if I am not at the delivery location when you deliver ?
A : As all deliveries need to be signed for, we will contact you to arrange a further delivery date. There will be an additional extra delivery charge.
Q : Can Piccolo House store my purchased items ?
A : We strongly encourage our customers to have their purchases delivered/self collected as soon as they place their orders. However, if you require us to store your purchased items, please call us at 6743-8884 to make an arrangement before you place your orders.
Q : Can i order Online and collect from the store ?
A : Yes , please select "self - collection" when you are at the final page of the order cart. (Not applicable for Bedroom Furniture)
Q : Do you deliver overseas ?
A : We welcome all overseas buyers. If you are interested in our merchandise, please email us the items you are interested in and we would get back to you shortly. Please note that overseas customers would be responsible for all delivery charges.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Q : What if I wish to cancel my order before delivery ?
A : For In stock Items
Please note that cancellation of such orders can only be done within 24 hours of our first order acknowledgement email. Unless we receive your written notification to cancel your order within 24 hours of our first order acknowledgement email, we regret to inform you that we will have to charge you 30% of the order value. Once we acknowledge receipt of your cancellation, you will receive the balance amount after the deduction of 30% of invoice value. A cancellation notice, together with your receipt, will be posted to your nominated address.
A : For Bedroom Series Furniture
Please note that cancellation of such orders can only be done within 72 hours of our first order acknowledgement email from the transaction date. Unless we receive your written notification to cancel your order within 72 hours of our first order acknowledgement email, we regret to inform you that we will have to charge you 30% of the order value. Once we acknowledge receipt of your cancellation, you will receive the balance amount after the deduction of 30% of invoice value. A cancellation notice, together with your receipt, will be posted to your nominated address.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGE
Q : What do I do if I am not satisfied with the products?
Piccolo House strives for customer satisfaction and we want to make your shopping experience with us a pleasant one. Returns and exchanges are willingly accepted within 15 days for unopened and unused merchandise still in its original packaging. Please hold on to any order documentation in order to accelerate the return or exchange. You are responsible for all delivery charges incurred. We regret to inform you that we do not accept any returns and exchanges for used items/items without its original packaging/customized items.
Q : What do I do if my purchased item arrives damaged ?
A : At Piccolo House, we endeavour to deliver all our merchandise in good condition. We take great effort in packing and shipping our products so they arrive safely. It is disappointing for both you and us when things go wrong occasionally. When your order has been unwrapped in your home and there are signs of transit damage, this is what to expect -
i. if the furniture is useable, despite the damage, we are happy for you to go ahead and use it.
ii. If there are surface defects on the furniture, Piccolo House’s delivery team would mend the defects on the spot if possible, or within 7 days.
ii. In the event that the defects are repairable, Piccolo House delivery team will record the problem(s). They will ask you to sign it. They may also take photographs to accompany the paperwork. Piccolo House will contact you and arrange to visit and repair the problem within 7 days.
iii. In the event that the defects are irreparable on the spot, your statutory rights would not be affected. We will replace the item. The problems have to be identified during the time of delivery, so that our delivery team will take back the item at the same time. We would do the replacement for you in the shortest time possible.
Upon signing the Delivery order/tax invoice, you agree to accept the delivered good(s) in its current condition. Please take note that our 1 year warranty covers only manufacturer’s structural defects (excluding surface defects). Please read the disclaimer on the tax invoice for more information on how to handle our furniture.
